I highly recommend to put a steel plate on the ground that the rollers for the wheel ramps will land on and roll on. I’ve seen loads of that style of lift slowly eat holes in the concrete where the rollers first contact the ground and eventually they start to hang up and can make the lift stop at that end and cause issues. It doesn’t take anything super fantastic. Just something that can’t chip like concrete. 1/8th inch steel would be plenty.

the roll bar kills me, i mean i get it, but i have seen so many derbys where a car can still ride over the hood and crush the roof, yours will still cave in if a car can ride right up. best one happened on jackass with knoxville, tire right in the windshield still runnning!!! always install the roll bar inside the car!!!!!

Coming from one derby driver to another, this is awesome! You should watch them for sure, or build yourself one for a different class! Im a mild weld compact driver and i love building derby cars!
